Marines Helping Marines

We are Chicago Marines.  Veteran, retired and reserve Marines that call the Chicago area home.

The Chicago Marines Foundation was founded as a result of Marines networking at the monthly Marine For Life Chicago meetings.  After seeing the Marine Corps Birthday celebration in Philadelphia, we decided we could build the same type of celebration in Chicago.  Our Marine Corps community is strong in Chicago and what better way to celebrate our birthday than by being together and supporting other veterans.

Now in our 4th year, our celebration has become known as the Best Birthday Party in Chicago!

Over the last three years, we've raised over $4o,000 for charities that support veteran initiatives.

As a certified 501 (c)(3) organization, your tax deductible donation will go to helping us build the ultimate Marine Corps Birthday Celebration in Chicago and raise funds to support veterans charities in the Chicagoland area and beyond.  Plan accordingly for Friday, November 10, 2017 at 5:30PM at Old Crow Smokehouse-River North in Chicago!

Marine For Life

Marine For Life

Marine For Life is a Marine Corps organization that provides nationwide assistance to Marines who are returning to civilian life, Marine reservists and all Marine veterans throughout their lives. Marine For Life also assists Sailors who have served with Marine Corps units.

Marine For Life began in 2002 at the direction of then-Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Jones.

The organization enables Marines who move on to civilian life, after serving honorably, to stay a part of the Marine Corps family and brotherhood.

The goal of Marine For Life is to harness the skills, contacts and personal and professional networks of Marine Corps veterans and others in the community—to form a network to help Marines.
